Parish records for the marriage at Burrington of Richard Blackmore and Grace Blackmore on 10 Oct 1827 gives both as "of this parish". The witnesses were William Blackmore and John Kelly

It is very possible that Richard's father, Thomas, is the son of John and Christian Blackmore who was baptised in Ashreigney on 3 June 1758. This would mean that Richard Blackmore married his first cousin Grace Blackmore - explaining that they both had the same surname.
