The funeral of Mrs Wallbank, of Eastery, Flookburgh, who died in the early
hours of Monday morning, aged 81, took place at Flookburgh on Thursday
afternoon, many relatives and friends attending. The service was conducted
by the Rev. R. D. Hughes, Rural Dean and vicar of Allithwaite. The hymn "
Through all the changing scenes of Life " was sung.

The chief mourners were Mr and Mrs. F. Symons, brother and sister in -law;
Mr. and Mrs R. Howson, Jim, John, Fred,Billy and Ada Dickinson,nephews and
nieces.

Among the general body of mourners were members of the Women's Bible class,
of which deceased was a member. Other friends noticed were Mrs
Postlethwaite, Mrs Hill, Mrs Couperthwaite, Mrs Golding, Miss
Rawlinson(Allithwaite), Mrs Werry, Mrs Atkinson, Mrs Tyson, Mrs
Shuttleworth, Mrs Miller, Mrs Butler, Mrs Saunders, Mrs Stevenson, Miss M
Slater, Mrs J Akister, Mrs J Wright and Mr P Butler.

The bearers were Messrs. W. Howson, R Howson, G Hudson, H Hudson, W.
Dickinson, J. Burrow, and Postlethwaite.

The beatiful floral tributes included one from the Women's Bible Class.

Funeral arrangements were by Mr James Hudson, Floofburgh.
