Francis Crago was born 1848 Liskeard, Cornwall,England. His parents were Elizabeth Tamblyn and William Crago. He arrived in Sydney 25 Jan 1865 per "Hornet" with his parents and his brothers, John and William. William 65, Elizabeth 54, John 18, Francis 16 and William 13. Another son Petherick Tamblyn Crago was already here, working as a clerk for Mr Godfrey of Yass. Francis married Mary Ann Covin 8 Oct 1877 Yass, NSW. Francis and Mary Ann both suffered from diabetes and Mary Ann went blind as a result from it. My father said that she never saw most of the grandchildren.
