Healesville Police Court THURSDAY APRIL 6 Frederick .Young, Christmas Hills, was granted restoration of his motor driver's licence. Walter J. Weymouth was charged with felling trees in, a forest reserve at Toolangi.-John Alexander Blackmore, forest officer, Toolangi, said tha1 on May 25 defendant felled trees in the Yea river reserve, near block 78, parish of Woodbourne, a protect ed forest area. With Mr. Moore, as sistant forest officer, witness visited the spot and questioned defendant. Lawrence Kenneth Moore corroborat ed.-Harold C. Beer,: forest officer, Toolangi. said he issued no permit *for trees to be cut there 'that. day. Defendant was fined £-I, with £.1/1/ costs, and ordered to pay, '£8/i8/4' compensation. *;
