I met him once in Taunton. All I remember is that he only had one eye - saw a photo of him and an article about the accident leading to the loss of the eye, plus a letter to his wife from the hospital, saying that he was recovering well. He had apparently poured water into a vat of slaked lime and the whole lot exploded in his face and the eye had to be removed.

William was a witness at his father's second marriage.

between Fremington churchyard filling and the new cemetery being opened (1964) some people were buried in Instow churchyard - near the smaller entrance gate "against the road" not the Lychgate. they may be buried there. But more likely they are buried in Taunton where they were living when Edith died.
