Elizabeth was born at Lane Side in Wadsworth. Her father, John, was the informant and mother's previous name is Hartley

Entry 63 on 8th August 1863 at Lister Hills Chapel - Thomas Earnshaw(21, but altered to 23*) and Elizabeth Briggs (20) - both unmarried and living at Denholme. Note that Elizabeth's sister (Ann) and Thomas's brother (John) had married at the same church 2 years earlier. * he was actually 21

Death found on findmypast.com - Dec 1871 Halifax 9a p 387 aged 28. She died at Providence Place, Midgley (same address as at birth of son a few months earlier). Informant was her husband. Reason given was "Constitutional Debility Exhaustion"

Not buried in Luddenden cemetery. Possibility that she was buried in Luddenden Dean Methodist Chapel

NOT FOUND - not with mother. Neither Ann nor Elizabeth are with Maria Mitchell.
Searched every which way on Ancestry without success - perhaps just left off the form? Ann was eventually found with her brother Joseph.
