Death certificate of Thomas Abell, obtained to find death of Thomas, father of Elizabeth, was for Thomas Abell aged 7 months and 12 days, the son of Thomas and Elizabeth Abell. The address was 15 Glasshouse Street, Whitechapel. Occupation stated "son of Thomas Abell, labourer" .
This is now conclusively the correct family since William and Elizabeth Abell with other children were living in Glass House Street in 1841 and in 1848 Elizabeth (snr) was the informant to the death of Humphrey Potter and gave her address as 15 Glasshouse Street. The birth certificate, above, also demonstrates the correctness of this previous assumption.
