Probate Index 1908
Reuben Earnshaw of Denholme died 3 Jun 1908. Probate Wakefield 13 Oct 1908 to his sons Albert Edward Earnshaw woolsorter of 11 Station Road Denholme and Edwin Ernest Earnshaw chair maker of 16 Albion Street Denholme. Effects £160 12s - 11 Station Road is where his brother John (William John) Earnshaw and Mary Ann Foster lived in 1880s.
The will, made on 8 May 1907, states that Reuben was a Bread Baker. His two sons were named as Executors. He left all his goods to them in trust for his wife Sarah Ann during her life. After her death the estate was to be divided amongst "my children their heirs or assigns??" - looks like arngris.
There is no mention, by name, of his daughter Hannah.
