General Notes:
Richard Frederick (Dick) WIESENER (1910 - 1940) took on electrical engineering at the then new Port Kembla steelworks. After some experience in accounting, he enlisted in the R.A.A.F., and sadly in August 1940, he was copilot of an R.A.A.F. plane in which several Federal ministers were travelling, when it crashed and all the occupants were killed, Dick leaving two sons and a daughter.
Richard married Elizabeth Joan BEALE on 25 Mar 1936. (Elizabeth Joan BEALE was born on 29 Dec 1911 and died on 5 Nov 1979.)
