Jeanie MATHIESON (1888 - 1980) after Guilf's death lived for a while at Cadia Park, where her son was born. Later, with her two children, she purchased a home at Burradoo, and here the children grew up. As far as can be ascertained, Jeanie holds the record (at more than 63 years) for the length of her widowhood.

Jeanie married Henry Guildford HOSKINS, son of Charles Henry HOSKINS and Emily Matilda Colley WALLIS, on 14 Mar 1914 in Strathfield, New South Wales, Australia. (Henry Guildford HOSKINS was born on 4 Jul 1887 in Guildford, New South Wales, Australia, and died on 30 Oct 1916 in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.)
