Henry Guildford (Guilf) 2nd HOSKINS (1916 - ) after his schooling in Australia, took his M.Sc. degree at the School of Mines, London University. In Portland, England, he married Olive COMBEN (1916 - ), and after holding positions in England, he went to Natal, South Africa, as Assistant Manager of an aluminium company. He returned to Australia in 1950, and set up his own company, Wessex Engineering, in Sydney. They have one son, and three daughters, one of whom, Helen, is an Anglican missionary working in Tanzania. She was at the time of writing the only member of the family to have been invited to give the address at the Hoskins Memorial Church.

Henry married Olive Hannah Greenwood COMBEN on 29 Mar 1944 in Portland, Dorset, England.
