Mary HARRISON ¹

  General Notes:

Spent all her life in 25 Woodbine Terrace, Idle. Although never baptised, she was very active in Idle Baptist Church and lived and worked all her life in Idle. She was remembered by many when she died.
From a family tree her son John has, she can trace her connections to Harrison the Clockmaker in Lincolnshire.

Mary married Eric William WRIGHT, son of Frank Herbert WRIGHT and Agnes NOBLE, on 8 Jun 1940 in St John's Church, Cavendish Road, Idle, Yorkshire, England. (Eric William WRIGHT was born on 18 Jul 1909 in North Bierley, Yorkshire, England, died on 24 May 1991 in Idle, Bradford, Yorkshire, England and was buried in May 1991 in Cremated At Nab Wood Crematorium, Shipley, Yorkshire, England.)

  Marriage Notes:

Marriage required a special licence. My mother often wondered what kept Eric (her brother) and Mary together, both could be difficult and behaved perversely towards each other, at times.
