 Martha Blackmore of 96 Pilton Street Barnstaple widow died on the 4th day of July 1929 at The Devon Mental Hospital Exminster Devon.

 William Burgess Smith of 11 St Brannocks Road Ilfracombe Devon retired builder  and Frederick John Garnish of 5 Church Street Ilfracombe aforesaid outfitter nephew of deceased the executors named in the said will

 This is the last will and testament of me Martha Blackmore of 96 Pilton Street Barnstaple in the County of Devon made this 25th day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and 14. I hereby revoke all wills made by me at any time heretofore. I appoint William Burgess Smith of 11 St Brannocks Rd Ilfracombe and Frederick John Garnish of 5 Church St Ilfracombe to be my executors and direct that all my debts and funeral expenses shall be paid as soon as conveniently may be after my decease. I give and bequeath unto my three sisters Emily Huxtable, Audrey Ann Lavercombe, Eliza Jane Smith and to my nephew Frederick John Garnish the sum of money that I have invested in ground rent to be equally divided between the same. The sum of money that I have in the Post Office Savings Bank after the expenses od doctor and funeral expenses are paid the remaining sum I leave to my husband Thomas Albert Blackmore. I give and bequeath unto my niece Florence Emily Smith my best gold brooch and dinner service and to my niece Eliza Jane Lavercombe the best gold bar brooch and tassel and to my niece Beatrice May Smith my watch and dear mothers hair chain, to my nephew William George Garnish pair best Japanese vases, to my nephew Frederick John Garnish the large pair of gold mounted photos of my dear mother and father, to my nephew Reginald Blackmore Garnish the large pair fancy jugs in the sittingroom and to my niece Doris Annie Garnish the junket bowl. My three gold rings I leave to my three sisters Emily Huxtable, Mary Ann Lavercombe and Eliza Jane Smith. To my sister Mary Ann Lavercombe half dozen best dessert spoons, to my sister Emily Huxtable the best plated jam dish, to my sister Eliza Jane Smith my sewing machine and all my clothes
