There is an entry in a handwritten list of gravestones at Burrington (created in 1917) stating
BLACKMORE Mary Anne wife of Richard, Station Master of Fremington
d July 15 1872 aged 19
The next entry is:
ROWE Henry d Dec 2 1866 aged 67
ROWE Alice his wife d Dec 24 1868 aged 55
- There are several errors in this, but Mary Anne's gravestone is no longer to be found
a) Mary was the wife of William and she was 49
b) Alice died in 1848 - this is quite clear on the gravestone
