There is a marriage in Brecknock, Breconshire in Jun qtr 1892 (11b 128) to Ada Annie Evans - but he claimed he was a bachelor in 1905 when he married in South Africa! Also, Ada had a son James Penrose Boxhall in Sep qtr 1893 (Cardiff 11a 368). No further sign of James Penrose snr after 1891
