The marriage certificate appeared to demonstrate that this was not the same Bessie Gertrude as the father's name and occupation, as well as her age, were wrong. However, on inspecting the witnesses and comparing with Bessie on the 1901 and 1911 censuses it is clear that it is the same Bessie

Green Hill and Chocolate Hill (which form together Yilghin Burnu) are adjoining eminences, about 52 metres above sea level, which rise almost from the eastern shore of the Salt Lake. The cemetery lies on the east side of the Anzac-Suvla Road.
