Banns of marriage between John Earnshaw and Mary Greenwood both of this Chapelry of Todmorden were published October 11th 18th 25th 1761
and were married in this Chapel by vertue of those Banns this fifth day of November 1761
- both made their marks
- witnesses were James Earnshaw and Isaac Collinge
- for interest one of the witnesses at the next marriage (58) was Abraham Fielden!! (the name of reputed father of Martha's son, John Earnshaw)
