1851 Census has Richard aged 7 years living at Mennabroom, Cornwall with his grandparents, John and Eleanor Yeo. States he was born in St Neot, Cornwall. 1881 Census, Cornwall says Richard Yeo was aged 37 years. Married and living at St Cleer. His occupation is listed as a copper miner. He emigrated to Australia sometime after 1885 with the rest of his family. When Richard married Mary in 1864 he was listed as being a farm labourer living at Mennabroom, Parish of St Neot. He could not write as sign with mark.
