Burrington Fundraising Bingo

This takes place approximately every 3 months in the hall. Watch the “upcoming events” page for the date of the next session

Burrington Primary School

Burrington Primary School principally uses the main hall within Burrington Parish Hall as a venue for PE sessions. The hall is also used for staging the annual school production, where we utilise the stage and microphone systems.

Burrington Primary School uses the Multi Use Games Area (MUGA) each week for curriculum PE sessions and the school’s netball and football clubs use this area once a week.  We hold inter-school netball and football matches at this first class venue.

The Parents and Friends of Burrington Primary School (PFA) use the main hall, committee room and kitchens to host a variety of functions over the academic year as fundraisers for the school. Recent functions have been a sit-down Christmas lunch for 60 people, a big Breakfast and Bingo event for over 90 people and a Harvest Festival lunch for 60 people.

Little Oaks Pre-School and Toddler Group

Little Oaks Montessori Pre-school opened in 1992 and operates from the village hall in Burrington, near Umberleigh in North Devon. It is run by a voluntary management committee, and subscribes to the Montessori educational approach. The committee also offer a Toddler Club, which operates from the same hall on Wednesday mornings. The hall is close to the local school and other village facilities. There is a secure area next to the hall suitable for outdoor play and children also have use of the school garden.
